Checked Baggage Oversize (over 50lbs)- $50.00 (starting price)
Baggage in excess of 50lbs and/or oversize will be subject to additional fees.
All baggage/luggage must be checked in at the ticket booth/counter.
FEES & TAXES
Port fees, security fees, and departure taxes are not included in the cost of your tickets.
Currently, port fees are:
St. Thomas to Tortola - Not included in ticket price.
Tortola to St. Thomas - $15.00 BVI residents and $20.00 Non-residents.
BVI Environmental Fee - $10.00 (due upon arrival; not included in ticket price)
Please note that all taxes and ticketing fees incurred through transactions with Aquatic Rentals Ferry Service are not retained by us.
The USVI taxes collected are remitted on behalf of our customers. Additionally, ticketing fee for online purchases are paid directly to and are the sole property of the ticketing company.

PASSENGER NOTICE
Check-in time and reservation confirmation is 45 minutes minimum prior to departure time.
Walk up ticket sales and check in window closes 10 mins prior to departure.
Tickets can be purchase in advance or on the day of travel. Tickets can be booked, online (here on the website), over-the-phone or at counter locations - Road Town & West End Ferry Terminal in Tortola or Red Hook Ferry Terminal in St. Thomas.
Travel Times:
Road Town to St. John/Red Hook - Approx. 45 mins (additional time for Custom Clearance in St. John)
Red Hook to Road Town - Approx. 45 mins
Red Hook to West End - Approx. 30 mins
West End to St. John/Red Hook - Approx. 30 mins (additional time for Custom Clearance in St. John)
Cyril E. King Airport (STT) to Red Hook Ferry Terminal - Approx. 30 mins (depending on traffic)
ST. JOHN PASSENGERS
The Ferry departs Road Town, Tortola and stop in Cruz Bay, St. John for Customs and Boarder clearance, prior to continuing onto Red Hook, St. Thomas. Passengers who wish to travel to St. John as your final destination do not have to continue onto Red Hook. Once Customs clearance has been completed, you are welcome to stay in St. John as your final stop.
However, passengers are still required to purchase Road Town to Red Hook tickets.
There are no direct trips from Cruz Bay, St. John to Road Town, Tortola. Passengers who wish to travel from St. John to Tortola, are required to travel to Red Hook and then onto Tortola.
CARGO & BAGGAGE
Over weight/size items will be subject to additional fees.
Pre-Booked cargo bookings must be checked in at the counter for verification prior to loading.
Customers are required to collect unaccompanied cargo/baggage in Red Hook, same day, upon arrival or within business hours.
Cargo or baggage arriving in Tortola locations should be collected in Customs Dept. at Ferry Terminal.
All cargo and baggage must comply with BVI & USVI Customs Depts. regulations.
